In my practice I see many people who have been in pain for months or even years. Like anyone in pain they want to how long it will take to get better.

The good news is that when your body receives enough nutrients, is free of circulation blockages, and gets enough rest, you will heal rapidly. Each person is different, as is each injury,  so the times will vary, however you can use the points below as a guide:

Pulled Muscle: 3 weeks

Bones: 5-6 weeks

Ligaments/Tendons: 6-8 weeks

Cartilage and Discs: 3-6 months

The difference in healing times is based on the availability of blood to the area. The tissues with more blood flow heal more quickly than those with less blood.  Eastern Medicine helps to speed up your healing time by encouraging your blood to move easily.

Acute: First 1-2 weeks

Post acute: Weeks 2-5

Chronic: After 5 weeks

As you can see, getting in quicker helps you heal faster. Your body will heal many injuries on its own, yet coming in to an Eastern Medicine healer when you hurt will make the process easier and faster. If you have hurt for more than five weeks, come in to heal quickly and get back to your life.
